Monday Chat/Downton Abbey Season 3, Ep. 2

  • This weekend was pretty good. The weather, despite the rain, was beautiful. Very Fall-like, although this morning the normal freezing-winter-weather is back. I see some light flurries falling. At 6:30 am it was 12 degrees warmer then it is now. Lovely.
  • I’ve been doing a lot of walking and I know that the nice weather was helping. My right foot (planter fasciitis), is still hurting and I’m still limping for the most of the day, but what can I do. It is what it is and I have to exercise. I go back to see my foot doc this week, so I guess he’ll be doing more orthotics adjustments. Again.
  • I’ve joined the writing groups (one of them so far, the other is this week) and a local animal group that I said I was going to. I’ve decided that I  have to make the best of a situation that I’m not thrilled to be in. I have to make my time in this city as enjoyable as possible.

-O’Brien is back to her old miserable ways. No shock there.

-Even though Lady Edith has been a cow in the past, it was nice that she was finally getting some happiness. But I guess the writers have to keep some characters on the show perpetually unhappy. Granny needed to zip it at the church. Her sass was not necessary.

-Mrs. Hughes does not have cancer. I was so relieved to hear that. It was interesting to see Mr. Carson’s reaction. It made me wonder if he had a crush on Mrs. Hughes in the past/present.

Anyone else enjoying the latest season of Downton Abbey, or any other shows?

About Nadia

A 30-something year old female, living in South-Western, Ontario, Canada, trying to get along in the world we live in. They say to write about your passion(s) in life. What motivates you. What makes you happy before you even open your eyes in the morning. I think there should be more leaders in the world and less followers. I am a passionate and stubborn person who tends to disagree with the norm. More people should follow their passion or their heart. But easier said than done. I am a passionate animal lover especially when it comes to my cat Kai. I love writing and know this is one of the things that I am meant to do. I love reading, from biographies, the supernatural, mysteries, to yes I’ll admit it in public, romance novels. I’m a crocheter/knitter who doesn’t like to follow patterns. Freestyle is the name of my game. When it comes to most things concerning the products I use and ingest I try to stay as natural as possible. I do follow the 80/20 rule. 20% of the time I can’t be bothered to try or I just want to have a piece of pepperoni pizza. Basically anything that interests me or makes my brain hum. I’m always open to suggestions, so if there’s a topic that you would like me to talk about, let me know. Even though blogging isn’t new or rare, for me it is. I’m hoping that blogging will help to open up many new pathways for me. Come and join me on my new adventure. Note: All content of this blog is copy-righted and belongs to me/nadiadonella.com. I’m loving this season of Downton! I have to admit I was surprised they wrote the whole wedding/Edith scene the way they did. Sigh…I wonder what is in store for poor, awkward Edith.

My heart broke for Lady Edith. Poor dear. I’m so excited that Downton is back in rotation here in the U.S.! I’ve missed it. :-D
