Wednesday, Half Way There

  • This week has been interesting. What has not been helping are the frigid temperatures that Mother Nature has been spewing out of her butt. Seriously MN, who did what to you? The toe-numbing, pain-in-the-brow, induced by your strong winds is not appreciated. Okay, I’m finished whinging, for now. :)
  • Not much to tell because I’ve been so busy. Between the workshops, submissions, the book and life, I’m stretched to my limit. No complaining here, though. Everything that I’m doing is for the betterment of my present and future.
  • Oh yes, as I’m sitting here typing this, I am reminded that the squirrel is back. The one that has been trying to get into the kitchen venting system for the last year or so. Well she’s in, nice and warm. I can hear her leg hitting the vent as she scratches herself. Sounds the same as a cat or dog. Lets hope she doesn’t drop a host of fleas or mites during her stay. Or get into the house. Damn rodents!
  • It is nice to come home at the end of the day and be missed by Kai the cat. I get a lot of affection and cuddles. She receives her butt pats. She’s so cute. I just want to squeeze her, but not in a bad way. At least she still receives her nighttime snuggles, on time. As pictured below. She had to be content, with sleeping on my arm, instead of a full lap. I had work to do, albeit one-handed, on my laptop.

How’s your week so far?

About Nadia

A 30-something year old female, living in South-Western, Ontario, Canada, trying to get along in the world we live in. They say to write about your passion(s) in life. What motivates you. What makes you happy before you even open your eyes in the morning. I think there should be more leaders in the world and less followers. I am a passionate and stubborn person who tends to disagree with the norm. More people should follow their passion or their heart. But easier said than done. I am a passionate animal lover especially when it comes to my cat Kai. I love writing and know this is one of the things that I am meant to do. I love reading, from biographies, the supernatural, mysteries, to yes I’ll admit it in public, romance novels. I’m a crocheter/knitter who doesn’t like to follow patterns. Freestyle is the name of my game. When it comes to most things concerning the products I use and ingest I try to stay as natural as possible. I do follow the 80/20 rule. 20% of the time I can’t be bothered to try or I just want to have a piece of pepperoni pizza. Basically anything that interests me or makes my brain hum. I’m always open to suggestions, so if there’s a topic that you would like me to talk about, let me know. Even though blogging isn’t new or rare, for me it is. I’m hoping that blogging will help to open up many new pathways for me. Come and join me on my new adventure. Note: All content of this blog is copy-righted and belongs to me/nadiadonella.com. My puppies have been extra snuggley during the cold spell we’re having. I love it. They’re like little furnaces.
