- This has been a busy but productive week. I am glad that it’s almost over with. For the next 3 days I am not obligated to be anywhere, unless I choose so. Which is a nice break from trekking in the ice/cold/snow. Watching the action from the window is good enough for me.
- I also think that it’s going to be a snowy weekend which isn’t so bad because with snow comes warmer temperatures. A little warmer anyway. Not snowman worthy snow, but easy on the shoulders & back when shovelling snow.
- Update: The squirrel situation will hopefully be resolved soon, but in the meantime… I swear she was “talking” to me through the vents. I’ve never heard her make any vocals sounds until today and when I said something she would “answer” back. Nervy sucker. Enjoy it rodent, you will be gone soon.
- I’ve decided that I’m going to do my best to submit one writing submission (contests, local opinion papers, etc.,) per month for 2013. I’ve been told that this is an ambitious feat but I’m giving it a try. I may not make every monthly deadline, but I’m going to give it my all. Although submission work will probably have to wait for the weekends.

About Nadia
A 30-something year old female, living in South-Western, Ontario, Canada, trying to get along in the world we live in.
They say to write about your passion(s) in life. What motivates you. What makes you happy before you even open your eyes in the morning.
I think there should be more leaders in the world and less followers. I am a passionate and stubborn person who tends to disagree with the norm.
More people should follow their passion or their heart. But easier said than done.
I am a passionate animal lover especially when it comes to my cat Kai.
I love writing and know this is one of the things that I am meant to do.
I love reading, from biographies, the supernatural, mysteries, to yes I’ll admit it in public, romance novels.
I’m a crocheter/knitter who doesn’t like to follow patterns. Freestyle is the name of my game.
When it comes to most things concerning the products I use and ingest I try to stay as natural as possible. I do follow the 80/20 rule. 20% of the time I can’t be bothered to try or I just want to have a piece of pepperoni pizza.
Basically anything that interests me or makes my brain hum. I’m always open to suggestions, so if there’s a topic that you would like me to talk about, let me know.
Even though blogging isn’t new or rare, for me it is. I’m hoping that blogging will help to open up many new pathways for me. Come and join me on my new adventure.

Ugh, we have squirrels in our ceiling and they have chewed electrical things and tripped our breakers in the past. They are so hard to get rid of. My husband may or may not have shot at them with his bb gun.
That’s my biggest concern, the squirrels chewing & causing major damage. Hopefully within the week the squirrel will be out and the entrance will be permanently sealed.
