They also had spirits, beer, and cider. But it's hard to find what I like in general because most are on the drier side. I do not like the dry stuff, at all.
I do think that they would get better attendance and more business for the wineries, breweries if they charged a slightly higher price and let everyone taste from most of the vendors. (I know this could turn negative but...) Paying for a ticket and then having to pay to taste, was a little ridiculous. Plus, a lot of the vendors were 3-4 tickets for a sample. A little much. If your product is worth it, you have to invest in trade shows, and get returns later. IMO.
I was surprised to see Kevin Brauch, otherwise known as "The Thirsty Traveler". If you live in Canada you may have been familiar with the show. We left shortly after because I had no intention of getting drunk & like I stated earlier, most of the product at the show was dry. Plus, sister was driving and she does not drink & drive at all. It was a nice treat from my sister & we had a good time.
Have you gone to any wine shows and were they worth it, to you?
Till next time,
