Weekly Wrap-Up

Well my first week back to school was kind of good, but kind of a hot mess. Some classes seem like they are going to be manageable and enjoyable. Others seem like they are going to give me a plenty of grey hairs, crows feet, and even more acne. Talk about a week of self doubt. Seriously, it was pep talks to myself all week long.

But anyway, I have this opportunity so I have to remember my end goals. Moving, better and more job opportunities, etc. I can do this, I'm not stupid or dumb. I may have to study or work at a lesson, several times before it sinks in, but I know I will understand it and be able to implement it.

I also haven't done anything creative in such a long time. I really have no energy. No writing, crochet, knitting, even snapping pictures. I can't wait until my writers group starts up again. Although it's only going to be once a month, instead of once a week. I guess time will tell whether that's good or bad. I am slowly getting through the 3 books that I borrowed from the library, so I guess that can count as a creative outlet.

Anyways, today is a new day. I slept in a little and feel better. Although after I practice a few of my lessons, a nap may be in store. Enjoy your Saturday, I will do my best to enjoy mine!

  1. I'm heading back to school next week and I'm not totally looking forward to it. I think I feel a lot of the same things you do, like I need to remember there are good reasons I'm doing this because sometimes it just gets so frustrating. I'm knitting so little that there hasn't been anything to blog about. But I did have a good Saturday! I treated myself to a haircut, color, new clothes and new makeup all of which I very badly needed.

Good luck with the upcoming semester!
I think I need to start doing some kind of crafting to help take my mind off of stressful school situations. When I'm concentrating on a pattern, there is no room to think about anything else.
Your Saturday sounded awesome. Self care is one of the best ways to make yourself feel better!
