Oven Roasted Broccolini- Quick & Easy

I love steamed vegetables but sometimes I like a change. This is also great for picky eaters. Growing up my mom always jazzed up our vegetables, so I was lucky enough to not suffer, from boiled foods. Who wants bland, boiled vegetables? Oven roasting will give your vegetables a slightly sweet flavour, from the caramelization process.

Easy Roasted Broccolini


  • 1 bunch of washed broccolini
  • 1 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper to your taste
  • 1/4 tsp any all purpose seasoning of your choice
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder to your taste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder to your taste


  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 F.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet. I used parchment paper on top of an old pan.
  3. Clean and trim your broccolini. Save the stalks, if you don't use them, for stock.
  4. Add the oil and spices, in a bowl. Mix well.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Depending on your oven, you may need to turn your pan around or flip the broccolini, if your oven cooks unevenly.
  7. Serve warm or hot, as a side or a main.
