Tired of steamed or boiled brussel sprouts? Not that I don't love them prepared that way. but if you want something different or are trying to get someone to like them, try my recipe. Watch the video here. Let me know how it went in the comments below.

Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes


Roasted Brussel Sprouts


  • 14 or so brussel sprouts, cleaned & trimmed
  • 1 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder


  1. Clean and trim brussel sprouts.
  2. In a bowl, add the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
  3. Place on a baking sheet, in a preheated oven of 400°F, for about 30 minutes.
  4. Halfway through, turn brussel sprouts over. Return to the oven. You may need to add a touch of hot water to the pan, before putting it back in the oven.
  5. Serve hot or warm. As a side or as part of a main.


You can make this recipe in a skillet, on the stove. Just add the oil, brown the spices, for a minute. Add the brussel sprouts & a touch of water. Stirring occasionally, until tender. About 10-15 minutes.
