Ben & Jerry’s & Natrel Lactose Free Ice Cream Taste Test/Review

Ben & Jerry's vegan frozen dessert has been out in the US for over a year now. It's finally in select locations across Canada. 3 flavours as of today's date.  I'm thrifty & I dislike paying full price for anything. So I waited until it was on sale, to try 2 of the 3 flavours. I didn't know that Natrel made ice cream, so yep, I picked up 1 flavour of that as well. This is my first taste test/review video, so I'm a little nervous. Watch me here.

Have you tried any of the frozen desserts from Ben & Jerry's or Natrel? If you did, what did you think?  If so, which flavour did you choose?

Check your local stores to find out if they carry these products.

The Natrel lactose-free "Very Vanilla" is really good. It has a nice, light vanilla taste and is as creamy and satisfying as conventional ice cream. I'm not too inclined to try the Ben and Jerry's vegan as I have not been terribly taken by frozen desserts made with milk substitutes, with the possible exception of coconut "ice cream".
