World Heart Day & Friday Catch Up

-Today is World Heart Day & I'm sharing 3 ways that I am improving/maintaining my heart health:

  1. How I deal with stress. I may not be able to stop stressful events from occurring but I have control over how I deal with them. In other words, if I have zero control, I let it go.
  2. Exercise at least 3 times a week. I'm not an athlete, nor am I  striving to be one but I have mini exercise sessions that get my heart rate up for at least 10 minutes. It's not perfect but it's better than nothing.
  3. What I put into my body. I love a nice juicy steak but I try to eat a more vegetable-based diet. Let's not go crazy though. If I feel like a steak or some chicken, I will enjoy it in moderation.

Let me know in the comment section what you do to help your heart.

-This Saturday is World Podcast Day and since I have my own podcast (My Views, Extended) I figured why not? My list constantly changes over the years but these are some podcasts that I'm enjoying:

The Friend Zone, Tiger Belly, Tin Foil Hat With Sam Tripoli, Rantin' and Ravin' With Yamaneika and Friends, and Social Misfit with Chloe Hilliard. There is much more & the list can go on and on. I tend to listen when I'm doing chores, cooking/baking or when working and absolutely no concentration is needed. What are your favourite podcasts to listen to? Where do you listen to podcasts the majority of the time?

-Saturday is also #OrangeShirtDay - "Every Child Matters". Orange Shirt Day is a day of remembrance for residential school survivors and especially for those who did not survive. Check out the link to learn more here. I don't have an orange shirt but I hope this will suffice.

-If you're looking for prints of my photographs or for home decor, please check out my redbubble.com portfolio, under NadiaArtist. New artwork coming soon! Any other photography requests, please email me at myviewsextended@gmail.com. Have a great weekend!

Till next time,

-Nadia
