1. Plan ahead. Even 2 or 3 months ahead. Start buying your bottled beverages & dry goods early on. Look for sales of items you will use & pick up 2 or 3. No one wants a huge bill a week before any holiday gathering. Does anyone remember Christmas hampers? A little every month for the year. Then your Christmas hamper arrives on your doorstep, paid in full.

2. Prepare part of the meal early. Bake 3-4 weeks ahead of time & freeze. Most baked goods can be frozen & defrosted, turning out beautifully. Just make sure to wrap them well & of course don't nibble on them in those 3-4 weeks.😁

3. Hosting & doing it all can make you feel accomplished but it's also exhausting. Especially if your hosting for 20 or more people. It takes money & some people are just not that great at cooking/baking. Solution? Ask for help or if someone offers to help you on the day of your party/get-together. Take the help! An extra hand can save time & your sanity!

4. Fit in some exercise. Whether you're a hardcore fitness person or not. I am not. I do it because it's good for me. It could be as simple as a brisk 20-minute walk. I like to get my exercise completed first thing in the morning. I'm currently loving HIIT workouts & of course my beloved yoga. I need that yoga calm, especially on hectic days. 🧘‍♀️

5. Lastly but what I personally think is the most important. Get a good night's sleep. Circumstances like an evening holiday party can make this unreasonable at times but try your best. Lights out & rise at the same time, every day. Even on the weekends!
