Is it dessert or is it breakfast? Hmm...🤔 I say have it for whichever one you want. It's a decadent treat, that won't sit in your stomach but will leave your sweet tooth satisfied. What do you like to put in/on your crepes? Watch me make it here.

6-8 crepes

  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp cane sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • oil or butter to cook the crepes
  • 1-2 cups of your favourite fresh fruit, cut up
  • whipped cream, amount is your choice
  • caramel or chocolate to drizzle on top if desired

  1. In a large bowl, microwave butter 10 seconds or until melted.
  2. Add salt & sugar to melted butter, mixing well.
  3. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Mixing after each addition.
  4. Add 1/2 of the milk. Mix well. Add 1.2 of the flour, whisk just until mixed.
  5. Repeat with remaining half of milk & flour.
  6. Set aside for 10-15. Use this time to cut up your fruit & whip the whip cream, if using fresh.
  7. In a large skillet on medium-high heat, add 1 tsp of oil or butter.
  8. Add 1/4 cup of batter to the pan, working quickly, so the entire pan (or most of it) is covered with the batter.
  9. Cook for 1.5 to 2 minute per side. Each side should be lightly browned.
  10. Your first several crepes may not be even or round but that's okay. Practice makes perfect! Or as close to perfect as we can get.
  11. Serve at room temperature with your favourite toppings. Enjoy!
