Book of the Week

Well the first week of online classes is complete. Sort of. Meaning that I did not get more then, some online reading done. I sent frustrating emails about assignment confusion and content not being available. I'm waiting on textbook deliveries, by the pony express (Canada Post). I had to pick a 6th course because one was not being taught this semester. I know they (registrars office) are busy but it helps to get this done earlier then a week before classes start. Yes, I'm a bit pissy but I hate doing things at the last minute. Let's not forget the wonky internet connection, from the storm earlier in the week. One minute pages are opening the next, nothing. Okay that was a great vent.

Even though I couldn't get the start that I wanted to, I've let it go and am using this "free" time to work on building nadiadonella.com and to get in some leisure reading.

On this months (possibly into October) reading list:
Be Careful What You Pray For: A Novel by Kimberla Roby
What the Nanny Saw by Fiona Neill
The Secret Life of a Slummy Mummy  by Fiona Neill
Angelopolis by Danielle Trussoni
Watcher of the Dark: A Jeremiah Hunt Supernatural Thriller (The Jeremiah Hunt Chronicle) by Joseph Nassise

New glasses. I love them! They are light, cute and the world looks sharp again.

I harvested the largest crop of basil, so far, earlier this week. So of course I had to make pesto. It was delicious!

Geese update: Goslings, just relaxing with the parents. They didn't run this week, which was nice.

I'm currently reading Persecuted: I Will Not Be Silent by Robin Parrish.  It is based on a Daniel Lusko film. "An evangelist finds himself framed for murder and on the run after he refuses to back a senator's proposition calling for sweeping religious reform." ( 2014, IMDb,)  I'll let you know my thoughts, when I'm finished reading it. I picked it up by accident thinking that it was a book on vampires but I'm reading it anyway. So far, so good.

Caught a beautiful sunrise this week. Better looking in person , of course. Have a great weekend!
