Book Review

It's a miracle! I've finally finished a book, over the course of 2 days. I've had a long reading drought. For those of you who don't know, I love reading, and finding the time has been difficult. Long rides on the SkyTrain and sitting in the hospital (for a family member) gave me the time I needed, to get my reading in. It was Black Berry, Sweet Juice: On Being Black and White in Canadaby Canadian, Lawrence Hill. I'm a bit late, since this was published in 2001, but that's okay. Better late than never, especially when it's a great read, like Black Berry, Sweet Juice was. Lawrence Hill shares his and others experiences, through interviews, "On being black and white in Canada." Check it out, it's a great read!

An early Easter treat! It's kind of a bad thing that there's a Purdys store within walking distance, but it's also a good thing, that they are in walking distance. I can work off a couple calories! You can get a pre-packaged assortment or pick from many of the chocolates, not all, your favourites. I like that. Who wants to only eat half of a box, because your favourite snowballs or hedgehogs weren't included? I haven't had a bad experience with them yet and the customer service is impeccable. Thanks Purdy's!

I hope you are all having a great week! If not at least the week is halfway over. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
