Ben & Jerry's vegan frozen dessert has been out in the US for over a year now. It's finally in select locations across Canada. 3 flavours as of today's date.  I'm thrifty & I dislike paying full price for anything. So I waited until it was on sale, to try 2 of the 3 flavours. I didn't know that Natrel made ice cream, so yep, I picked up 1 flavour of that as well. This is my first taste test/review video, so I'm a little nervous. Watch me here.

Have you tried any of the frozen desserts from Ben & Jerry's or Natrel? If you did, what did you think?  If so, which flavour did you choose?

Check your local stores to find out if they carry these products.

Till next time,

This is my first experience with Herbal Essences Naked, a cleansing conditioner. Herbal Essences Naked is made in the USA, distributed by Procter & Gamble. A one-step cleansing conditioner is a bonus in my eyes. Who has time or wants to shampoo and then condition? I don't.

What it does: Cleanses your hair, without stripping your hair. Which is great if you have thick or coarse hair, like I do. If you have fine hair this may not work for you but who knows it may. Cleans away all of the product, dirt & oil that is on your scalp and hair.

Scent: Peppermint scented, which is not overpowering at all. It does contain peppermint oil, which creates a slight tingle, on your scalp. It is not overwhelming at all.

Texture: Very thick and creamy. White in colour.

Price: On $6.99. It does go on sale from time to time.

Overall impression:

  • Does a great job cleaning the hair and scalp.
  • Hair is very moisturized, not greasy, and soft.
  • The detangling is not that great. If you have super curly or kinky-textured hair you may have to use an additional detangler.
  • It is not perfectly natural but if that is not on the top of your list, give it a try.
