`Sweet Thea. The physical storefront is located in Langley, BC, owned by pastry chef & chocolatier, Thea. You can take a chance that your favourite baked goodie will be there on market day (located at various markets, in BC's lower mainland) or order ahead of time, for pick up at a market. You can also make other pick-up or delivery arrangements. Her baked goods are addictive and I haven't had anything from her that was not amazing!
`What is supposed to be crisp, always is. What is supposed to be soft & chewy, always is. The tarts are perfectly sweet and/or tart. I have more treats to try but so far, so good. My favourites to date: Lime Coconut Tart, Chocolava Cookie & the luscious Palmier, which I believe is not done throughout the year.
`Price: The baked goods are not cheap, but the ingredients are quality. You get what you pay for. I grew up eating quality homemade food, so this is the taste profile that I expect. Cookies 8/$6; Pies $20; individual tarts $4.20/each; cakes $28-$65 (wedding cakes as well, check out the website or call for all prices); macarons 24/$42 & various pastries.
`If you see the Sweet Thea tent, check them out, you will not be disappointed. Go to the Sweet Thea website for more info and to know when her baked goods will be at a market in your area!
