Good morning/afternoon/night everyone!

I along with many of you have been wondering what's up with the early fall weather temperatures. Up to last night I was wondering when is the cold weather going to come back and stay. Especially since we've finally put up the Christmas trees in our house. But alas, the cold weather is slowly creeping back in and we are now in the minuses again. Good old windchill is back in full effect.

Any of you four-seasoner's, with indoor pets in your household know that we need a nice deep chill or 2, to kill any remaining fleas or flea eggs. Last winter for many people the fleas did not stop at all throughout the winter. Damn fleas! Here's hoping the December weather kills all the little critters!

Speaking of putting up the Christmas tree, have any of you been assaulted by your pets yet? Kai the cat felt the need to jump off of her treedo to smack my hand, 3 separate times, because I was touching the tree that she is not allowed to touch. I guess in her mind if she can't touch it, neither can I. She's so rude! Is she a cat or a human? Sometimes I wonder.

Her treedo has been moved to the other side of the room, away from the temptation of the Christmas tree. She has a new view and she spent the night downstairs by herself. We're thinking of moving the bird feeder over as well, since there's been very little bird action.

Anyway that's all for now. Have a great day!

Kai's not allowed in it, so of course she has to sit under it.

And the result is....

Yes, rain, fog & mild temperatures.

Shock and disappointment, for some.

For me, not at all. The older I get, the less I care if there's snow on the ground. Even up to last year I wanted there to be a good 6 inches of snow on the ground. It didn't feel like winter or Christmas if there wasn't any of the white stuff.

This year it can be a balmy 60 degrees and I will be fine with that. I just want to be able to get back to my house Christmas night when the festivities and visiting is over with. Put on my soft pj's, robe and relax by the fire place for the rest of the evening. Maybe watch a black & white movie. Who knows?

If you get snow where you live, do you feel cheated if it doesn't snow during winter/Christmas?

If you live where you don't get snow, do you ever wish you could go some place where it's snowing for the holidays? Or are you content with a green Christmas?
