On a Saturday. Issues with Windows 8, that I'm fighting to figure out. I'll eventually understand it, but the process is a lesson in patience and keeping my cool.

I just found out that my school program doesn't start until the 13th, so woo-woo for me. This gives me time to get back to a decent bedtime. Over the Christmas holidays, I've been seeing too many early am sleeps. I can also use this extra time to try and get more familiar with the Adobe programs that I'll be using in my program. Some of those will be challenging, I can tell already. But I'm trying not to stress because as long as I go to class, study, ask questions and repeat, I will be just fine.

I will also be doing some serious reading. Stopped at the library Friday morning to exchange some books. The weather is icy cold. The wind chill is making Winter, not so pleasant. The wool socks just did not cut it, and that was only a short walk from the car to the library. At least the sun is shining and we didn't get that much snow, compared to many other places around the country.

Books I hope to read before I start classes.

Good morning/afternoon/night everyone!

I along with many of you have been wondering what's up with the early fall weather temperatures. Up to last night I was wondering when is the cold weather going to come back and stay. Especially since we've finally put up the Christmas trees in our house. But alas, the cold weather is slowly creeping back in and we are now in the minuses again. Good old windchill is back in full effect.

Any of you four-seasoner's, with indoor pets in your household know that we need a nice deep chill or 2, to kill any remaining fleas or flea eggs. Last winter for many people the fleas did not stop at all throughout the winter. Damn fleas! Here's hoping the December weather kills all the little critters!

Speaking of putting up the Christmas tree, have any of you been assaulted by your pets yet? Kai the cat felt the need to jump off of her treedo to smack my hand, 3 separate times, because I was touching the tree that she is not allowed to touch. I guess in her mind if she can't touch it, neither can I. She's so rude! Is she a cat or a human? Sometimes I wonder.

Her treedo has been moved to the other side of the room, away from the temptation of the Christmas tree. She has a new view and she spent the night downstairs by herself. We're thinking of moving the bird feeder over as well, since there's been very little bird action.

Anyway that's all for now. Have a great day!

Kai's not allowed in it, so of course she has to sit under it.
