Even buying at discount stores can add up. This is about utilising what you already have in your home & what many of us throw out or recycle. It's not about what you can afford but about not spending money if you don't have to. Well, you'll probably need fresh top soil. Head on over to the video, where I share some tips that I use in most growing seasons.
What are your favourite ways to save or not spend money while making your garden flourish, grow & feed you?
I harvested the largest crop of basil, so far, earlier this week. So of course I had to make pesto. It was delicious!
Geese update: Goslings, just relaxing with the parents. They didn't run this week, which was nice.
Animal butts are just cute.
I'm currently reading Persecuted: I Will Not Be Silent by Robin Parrish. It is based on a Daniel Lusko film. "An evangelist finds himself framed for murder and on the run after he refuses to back a senator's proposition calling for sweeping religious reform." ( 2014, IMDb,) I'll let you know my thoughts, when I'm finished reading it. I picked it up by accident thinking that it was a book on vampires but I'm reading it anyway. So far, so good.
Caught a beautiful sunrise this week. Better looking in person , of course. Have a great weekend!
